At Cosy Nights Sleep Consultancy my mission is to help as many parents as possible to resolve their little one’s sleep problems, allowing them all as a family to enjoy peaceful and cosy nights together.

I use a gentle approach to sleep training, utilising my in-depth knowledge of a wide range of techniques to make an individual plan tailored to your child’s needs.

About Me.

Hi everyone, I'm Colleen...

First and foremost, mum of two beautiful girls. For as long as I can remember I always knew that I wanted to be a mum and I vividly remember the joy and excitement during my first pregnancy and the absolute delight of holding my baby girl for the first time.

 

Our first year was filled with love and happiness but also an overwhelming level of exhaustion and sleep deprivation. Bedtimes were a battle; we were awake multiple times every night and on the odd occasion when we got a couple of hours to ourselves, we were so incredibly tired we felt we had no energy to do anything other than wait and rest until the next waking. As our daughter’s first birthday approached, we made the decision to seek help and the results were life changing. 

 

We suddenly had the energy to be the parents we’d always wanted to be. We felt much more able to think about having another baby with the knowledge that there were strategies that we could use to help develop healthy sleep patterns for the whole family and it wasn’t in fact “the luck of the draw” as to whether or not you got a baby who was a good sleeper. Having helped and supported family and friends over the years to overcome similar sleep problems with their little ones, I felt inspired to go a step further and train as an infant sleep consultant.  I now enjoy supporting families with a reange of sleep issues, allowing them to fully embrace the joys of parenting.

With a background in psychology, early years and primary school teaching, I fully understand and appreciate the importance of sleep for your little ones and also for you as a family. Let’s work together to make some changes so bedtime is no longer a battle and you and your family can look forward to those cosy nights together!​
